Another Cereal Post.

Another stupid cereal rant. Gorilla Munch might be a great tasty morning snack, but I swear it's housed in government plastic -- scissors needed. That's all. Oh & look at Kelly in the background. :)

p.s. my blackberry bold doesn't take the best pictures... sorry

Whoopi Needs to STOP.

This is an embarrassing post. My daily routine in my office is to have my TV on ABC in the mornings while reading my e-mails & enjoying me tea coffee. Regis & Kelly followed by The View then back to Bravo for the rest of the day. Here's the thing. I used to not be able to watch The View because Rosie drove the living shit out of me. Now that Whoopi is on, I can handle it. However, now that Whoopi is doing MUCH MORE of her annoying "Stupid Valley Girl" voice... I really think I need to switch over to Bravo at 10am now. She really is SO NOT FUNNY & needs to stop. I can see it in Barbara & Joy's eyes... they HATE it too.

Whoopi, stop. It doesn't suit you. Thanks.

Cereals that hurt.

WARNING: Make sure you soak these cereals for ample time in your milk before diggin' in. Wowza, these can cut you up. That's all.

- Full Disclaimer: I LOVE these cereals so much... so please eat them. mmmmm.

Friday Ripa.

As many of my friends know, I've always wanted to be BFF with the one & only Kelly Ripa. It's become one of those weird things that sometimes I think I'm actually friends with her in real life. The fact I watch her show almost every morning at work (while still working of course) probably has a lot to do with it, but anyways. Happy Friday blog-readers. Week 1 of my blog has been completed... and frankly, it's still fun.... we'll see as time goes on.

p.s. photo A really does look like Christina Applegate, no?!

Award Season Traffic.

For those who are not familiar with the Los Angeles traffic laws Awards Season traffic, you should all say "No, but I don't wanna be." I know, I know, my friends back in Massachusetts think it's the coolest thing ever to see something like the Academy Awards being setup or a real red carpet Movie opening, but it really can put a wrench in most Angelenos commutes. My commute brings me through Hollywood everyday, which is fine... unless of course the Oscars are happening... or Ryan Seacrest American Idol is at the Kodak... or The Hollywood Bowl is having a show (typically the classic rock concerts create the WORST back-ups)... or an animated film is premiering at the Mann Chinese.... Honestly, I really am not trying to complain, it will be cool in retrospect (years from now when I reminisce) & it comes with living in Los Angeles.
One wish dream it-would-have-completed-my-life old movie I wish caused my traffic jams everyday would have been Pretty Woman. If it would have taken me over 4 hours to get to my office, I'd be totally OK with that. I mean, to see that movie being filmed would have been beyond-the-beyond. For those of you who don't know me, it's my FAVORITE MOVIE EVER. Like ever.

Shop assistant: May I help you?
Vivian: I'm just checkin' things out.
Shop assistant: Are you looking for something in particular?
Vivian: No. Well, yeah. Something... conservative.
Shop assistant: Yes.
Vivian: You got nice stuff.
Shop assistant: Thank you.
Vivian: How much is this?
Shop assistant: I don't think this would fit you.
Vivian: Well, I didn't ask if it would fit. I asked how much it was.
Shop assistant: How much is this, Marie?
Marie: It's very expensive
Shop assistant: It's very expensive.
Vivian: Look, I got money to spend in here.
Shop assistant: I don't think we have anything for you. You're obviously in the wrong place.
Marie: Please leave.

Okay, I must work now. Happy Monday.

Bananas.

Today, I woke up with a headache. Who gives a shit right? Well, it's my blog so suck it. Barrys Bootcamp this morning was hell on earth with a headache.

Moving on. Tonight is my last Spanish Class (class 8 of 8). I have to say, I was very surprised how much I remembered from High School (circa d. 1994) and really enjoyed trying to learn it again. However, what I truly & utterly dreaded every week was the friggin drive. The drive to Encino! From Burbank. So, that being said, I will not be continuing my Spanish Education in Encino after tonight. No thanks Larry. I am going to try & find a place in Burbank near my office to try out. We'll see. I also hated the weekly tarea (homework for you non-Spanish-speaking peeps).

I'm fine with all salt.

This is beyond-the-beyond. Not sure why or if I want to do a blog. Really, it's about daily dialogue with myself. It's about everyone and no one. It literally stemmed from my good ol' pal Caroline who just started a blog after she moved to Bogota, Colombia. I thought, gee whiz, that's a great idea. Taking time each & every day to just "vent," "release," or "rant."

Let's say bring on post 1. No seriously, say it. Outloud. Thanks.
