Sunday Bliss. Chocolate Chip Cookies.

These are pure bliss. Literally. Thanks to Smitten Kitchen & David Lebovitz for passing this recipe onto us common folk. I must say, I have really become a true "follower" of Deb over at Smitten Kitchen. She has never steered me wrong & she knows everything from cookies to breakfast pizza. THANK YOU DEB.

A few things I learned today when creating these masterpieces. Make sure butter is cold when you turn on that Kitchen Aid. Toast your nuts (hehe). I used pecans. Keep the dough in the fridge in between batches. Make sure your cookie sheet (I can't live without the metal professional pans with a Silpat) is fully cooled down before scooping out your next batch. Finally, make sure you give some to your neighbors as they walk by your window or else you'll eat them ALL immediately.

Still at home unshowered & unshaven. Need to get going. Get going for what actually? Had fun at Loteria & Sam's birthday party last night. Although got home at 1:00am... WAY beyond Rye Guy's bedtime. Haven't been up that late in ages.

Whoopi Needs to STOP.

This is an embarrassing post. My daily routine in my office is to have my TV on ABC in the mornings while reading my e-mails & enjoying me tea coffee. Regis & Kelly followed by The View then back to Bravo for the rest of the day. Here's the thing. I used to not be able to watch The View because Rosie drove the living shit out of me. Now that Whoopi is on, I can handle it. However, now that Whoopi is doing MUCH MORE of her annoying "Stupid Valley Girl" voice... I really think I need to switch over to Bravo at 10am now. She really is SO NOT FUNNY & needs to stop. I can see it in Barbara & Joy's eyes... they HATE it too.

Whoopi, stop. It doesn't suit you. Thanks.
